Suzie - it is with heartfelt sympathy and my deepest condolences I write this. Anyone that knew Craig, knew that there was nothing more important to him than his famly. I loved and respected that Craig spoke his mind, everything was black and white and you never had guess how he felt. I had the honor of knowing him, working with him, and socializing with him over the course of many, many, years and feel truly blessed to have known him. You were, and always will be, his Queen! Jason, Amanda, and Rory - I am so sorry you have to go through this, and if I knew a way to take away your pain or make this easier, I would do it in a heartbeat. Tammy Ward

Kris & Jim left a message on June 8, 2016:
Sue, My heart is heavy... I am so sorry to say good bye to yet another great member of our family. I know the Schantz family has endured so much, too much loss the past year and recent weeks, and my thoughts & prayers are with each and every one of you. As Jim & I were in our back yard today(pool), I was reminded of you & Craig popping in to check on Patti, & Craig saying, "Well, I wanna go say hi", and I'm so glad he did. We talked about the pool and how he was wanting to do the same for the family, and in particular the grandkids. Who would've ever thought 6 months ago, he'd never get the chance....perhaps you'll fulfill that vision for him later down the line. What I remember most about him is that he wasn't front and center like some of the rest of our crew... eh hem... not mentioning any names... but what he was, was there, by your side and with his family, a man's man. There is no truer person than that, and we are all better for knowing and loving him and I love you.
