I was saddened to learn John had passed. John and I were fellow employees at The Hartford. He was one of the good guys who always had my respect and admiration. He was also good company on the golf course. To his family and all who knew him I want to say I am sorry for your loss. Please accept my sympathies. Sincerely,

My sincere sympathy . I worked for The Hartford in St. Louis for many years and remember the January day when he walked into the office to "check us out" before agreeing to transfer from Mpls. to StL. He was wearing his fur collared storm coat and open zipper galoshes. Problem is: it was one of those crazy days in Missouri when the winter temperature was up around 70 degrees. Being a Minnesota native myself, I fully understood the apparel. I have always been grateful that he decided to make the move to St. Louis ----- he was a fair, understanding man with a great sense of humor; a pleasure to know and work with. His death is a loss to this world but a gain for Heaven! I cannot close this without commenting on the radiant smile he had. It could warm an entire room!

I worked with John at The Hartford. Although I was not in Claims he was my mentor when I needed information about a claim. John was very generous with his time for a novice like me. And...he was fun to play a round of golf.

My most sincere condolences to my Jandro cousins in St. Louis. Your Dad was a wonderful man. Fantastic to talk with, the stories seemed endless. I have been blessed with visits these last few years with you all and your Dad. Memories will fill that empty place in your hearts. Love to you all, Mary Pat
